Intermountain Hospital offers a number of treatment programs for adult patients, ages 18 and over. Among these include our adult inpatient treatment program, the New Start Center for Recovery for substance abuse treatment and our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).
Intermountain Hospital offers 24-hour inpatient acute psychiatric services in Boise, Idaho for those facing psychiatric emergencies like a suicide attempt, severe depression or an other mental health crisis. Our psychiatrists, social workers, case managers and mental health technicians offer exceptional mental health treatment services and care.
New Start Center for Recovery is a 30-bed freestanding facility located on the campus of Intermountain Hospital in Boise, Idaho. This program is focused on adults who are seeking treatment for the use or abuse of alcohol, illicit drugs or prescription medications and who may also have issues with past trauma, depression, post-traumatic stress, anxiety or other emotional and mental health concerns.
Intermountain Hospital’s Community Partial Hospitalization Program is a structured, therapeutic program that assists in transitioning patients from an inpatient hospital setting to a more independent life in the community. The program is designed to increase and maintain the therapeutic gains individuals have made as patients in the hospital. It may also help prevent the need for future hospitalizations. Community PHP is tailored to meet each individual’s needs and provides direction and tools that each participant can use in their daily lives.
